Purchasing Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the purchase of Belbin Team Role reports through soomre.com.

1. Definitions

In these Conditions:

"We", "us" or "the Seller" means Belbin Estonia OÜ (Reg. No. 14529810, VAT EE102091881), trading as Training & Team Coaching by Soomre, registered in Tallinn, Estonia.

"You" or "the Customer" means the person or organisation placing an order through soomre.com.

"Reports" means the Belbin Team Role reports we supply, including the Belbin Individual Report, Belbin Team Report, and other reports available through the Belbin Interplace platform.

"Belbin Limited" means Belbin Limited (UK), the original developer of the Belbin Team Role methodology and operator of the Interplace platform on which Reports are generated.

"Interplace" means the official Belbin online platform (interplace.belbin.com) where you complete the Self-Perception Inventory, invite observers, and receive your finished Reports.

"Consumer" means a natural person buying for purposes outside any trade, business, craft or profession, as defined in the Estonian Law of Obligations Act.

"Website" means soomre.com.

2. Contract

2.1 These Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Website. By completing an order, you agree to these Conditions.

2.2 The contract between you and us is formed when payment is successfully processed and we send you confirmation of your order. If we cannot accept your order, we will refund the payment and notify you.

2.3 No variation to these Conditions is valid unless agreed in writing by us.

3. The Order Process

3.1 You select the type of Report (Individual or Team) on the Website and complete the order form.

3.2 You are redirected to Stripe to complete payment. Stripe is the payment processor. By completing payment you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

3.3 After successful payment, you are directed to Interplace to register an account and begin the assessment process. Your Report is generated on Interplace, the official Belbin platform.

3.4 You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during the order process and during the Interplace registration. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by inaccurate information.

3.5 Once an order has been accepted, it cannot be cancelled except in accordance with Section 6 (Refunds and Cancellations).

4. Prices and Payment

4.1 Prices are shown on the Website and are in Euros (EUR). All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.

4.2 Current prices:

  • Belbin Individual Report: €72 (VAT included)

  • Belbin Team Report: €144 (VAT included)

  • Belbin Job Report: free of charge, available within Interplace after purchase of an Individual or Team Report

4.3 Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. We accept payment by credit or debit card via Stripe.

4.4 We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applied to your order is the price displayed at the moment of purchase.

4.5 If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible. You may then choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

5. Delivery of Reports

5.1 Reports are digital products delivered through the Interplace platform.

5.2 After payment, access to the Self-Perception Inventory is normally available within 24 hours, often sooner.

5.3 Once you complete the Self-Perception Inventory and your invited observers complete their input, the full Report is normally generated within 1–2 working days.

5.4 We use reasonable efforts to meet these timeframes but do not guarantee them. Delays caused by Interplace platform issues, observer response times, or other factors outside our reasonable control are not our responsibility.

5.5 Reports are delivered as PDF documents through Interplace. You can download them from your Interplace account at any time.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

6.1 Consumer right of withdrawal

If you are a Consumer (individual buying for personal use), Estonian and EU law gives you the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason.

Important: This right does not apply once the digital service has been performed with your express prior consent. By beginning the Self-Perception Inventory or inviting observers, you confirm that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal once the assessment process has started, and you give your express consent for the digital service to be performed immediately.

If you wish to withdraw before starting the assessment, contact us at mats@soomre.com within 14 days of purchase. We will refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request.

6.2 Business customers

If you purchase as a business customer, no right of withdrawal applies.

6.3 Refunds for technical failures

If a Report cannot be delivered due to a technical failure on our side or the Interplace platform that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, we will issue a full refund.

6.4 No refunds after Report generation

Once a Report has been generated and made available in your Interplace account, no refund is available, regardless of customer status.

7. Use of Reports

7.1 You may use the Reports for your own personal or internal organisational development purposes.

7.2 You may share Reports with the individuals who took the assessment and with their direct managers or coaches working with them.

7.3 You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Reports

  • Reproduce the Reports in publications, training materials or marketing without our prior written consent

  • Use the Reports as a basis for hiring, firing, promotion or disciplinary decisions in isolation. Belbin reports describe behavioural contributions in teams. They are not designed to be used as standalone hiring tools.

7.4 The Belbin methodology, the Belbin Team Role names, and the Belbin Reports are the intellectual property of Belbin Limited (UK). All trademark and copyright rights remain with Belbin Limited.

8. Warranty and Liability

8.1 We warrant that we will deliver the ordered Reports through Interplace with reasonable skill and care.

8.2 We make no representation as to specific business outcomes or improvements that may result from acting on the Reports. Reports describe behavioural patterns; they do not predict business performance.

8.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under or in connection with the Agreement shall not exceed the price you paid for the Report.

8.4 We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or special damages

  • Loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill

  • Decisions you make based on the contents of the Reports

  • Any matter arising from the Belbin Interplace platform itself, which is operated by Belbin Limited (UK) under their own terms

8.5 Nothing in these Conditions limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Estonian law.

8.6 If you are a Consumer, your statutory rights under Estonian and EU consumer protection law are not affected.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

9.1 The personal data you provide is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2 The Belbin Interplace platform processes assessment data under Belbin Limited's terms and privacy policy. By using Interplace you also agree to those terms.

9.3 We treat the contents of your Reports as confidential. We will not share or disclose Report contents to anyone other than the assessment subject and the people they explicitly authorise.

9.4 Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed in the course of the Agreement, except where disclosure is required by law.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of authorities, internet service interruptions, failures of third-party platforms (including Interplace and Stripe), strikes, or other events of force majeure.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Conditions from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. Changes apply to orders placed after the change is published. Existing orders are governed by the version of these Conditions in force at the time of purchase.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1 These Conditions are governed by Estonian law.

12.2 Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Conditions shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, Estonia.

12.3 Consumers may also bring disputes to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, www.komisjon.ee) or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
