Who We Are

This website soomre.com is operated by Belbin Estonia OÜ (Reg. No. 14529810, VAT EE102091881), trading as Training & Team Coaching by Soomre. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia. Mats Soomre is the data controller for any personal data processed through this website.

What We Collect

Personal data you provide directly. Name, email address, phone number, company name, and any message content you submit through forms on this website. We collect only what you choose to send us.

Personal data collected automatically. With your consent, this website uses two analytics tools to understand how it is used:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google) - pages visited, sessions, time on page, clicks and navigation, how you arrived at the site, approximate location (country and city, from your IP address), and device, browser and operating system. It uses cookies.

  • PostHog (hosted in the European Union) - on-site behaviour including page views, clicks, scroll depth, and anonymised session recordings of how visitors move through the pages. Recordings automatically mask anything you type into forms and are used only to improve the website.

Both tools load through Google Tag Manager and run only after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. Neither is used for advertising, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time.

Why We Collect It

We process your personal data only for these purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries and requests you send us

  • To deliver services you order, such as Belbin assessments and coaching engagements

  • To meet legal obligations (such as accounting and tax records)

  • To send you communications you have specifically agreed to receive

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who We Share It With

We share data only with service providers we need to deliver what you have asked for:

  • Stripe - payment processing for Belbin report orders

  • Google - Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, for website usage statistics

  • PostHog - product analytics and session recording, hosted in the European Union

  • Belbin Interplace - assessment platform for delivering Belbin reports

  • Email service providers - for transactional emails and any newsletters you have subscribed to

  • LinkedIn - the LinkedIn Insight Tag, for measuring our LinkedIn advertising, attributing conversions, and building audience insights (data may be processed outside the European Union under Standard Contractual Clauses)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may disclose data to public authorities only when required by Estonian or European Union law.

Cookies and Tracking

Essential cookies. A small number of technical cookies are needed for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie choices and form input within a session). These do not identify you and are not shared with third parties.

Analytics cookies. With your consent, Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies and similar technologies to measure how the site is used. These are placed only after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and declining does not affect your use of the site.

Advertising cookies. With your consent, the LinkedIn Insight Tag sets cookies and similar technologies to measure how our LinkedIn advertising performs, attribute conversions, build audiences for retargeting, and give us aggregate insight into the professional profile of our visitors. These are placed only after you accept advertising cookies in the consent banner, and never by default. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and declining does not affect your use of the site. LinkedIn may transfer and process this data outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed:

  • Enquiry messages: up to 24 months, unless an active client relationship continues

  • Client records: as long as required by Estonian accounting law (currently seven years)

  • Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection of data transmitted over the internet. You send us information at your own risk, but we do everything reasonable to keep it safe.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of your data, where legally permitted

  • Object to processing or request restriction of processing

  • Receive your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

  • Lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee)
