It identifies nine clusters of behaviour that people contribute in teams: Plant (creative), Resource Investigator (networker), Co-ordinator (chair), Shaper (driver), Monitor Evaluator (analyst), Teamworker (diplomat), Implementer (organiser), Completer Finisher (perfector), Specialist (expert). Each role has strengths and associated weaknesses. The methodology measures behaviour through self-perception combined with observer assessment from 4–6 colleagues. The gap between how a person sees themselves and how their team experiences them is where most useful insight lives. Same data. Different interpretation. ## What makes Soomre's work distinct Practitioner-written interpretation. Standard Belbin reports give data — roles, percentiles, observer feedback. Mats writes Team & Leadership Dynamics Reports by Soomre on top of that data: narrative behavioural analyses for individuals, pairs, and full teams. Written from real data, read by an accredited practitioner with 28 years of experience. Team coaching is iterative, not event-based. Workshops and trainings are interactive (no slides, no lectures). Sessions create situations where people experience insight themselves rather than being told. ## Photography practice (separate from coaching) Mats Soomre is also a photographer, specialising in golf photography since 2007 and active as a photographer since the late 1970s. The photography work is published under the signature #MomentsBySoomre and hosted at a separate site and separate entity: - [moments.soomre.com](https://moments.soomre.com): Photography portfolio, golf archive going back to 2007, and wider #MomentsBySoomre work. Separate site, separate practice, same person. The connection between the two practices is explored in the article [Photography Made Me a Better Coach](https://soomre.com/newsroom/photography-made-me-a-better-coach). ## Languages English, Estonian, Finnish, Russian. ## Pricing - Belbin Individual Report: €72 (VAT included) - Belbin Team Report: €144 (VAT included) - Working Relationship Report (pairs): €36 - Belbin Job Report: free of charge (available in Interplace after Individual or Team Report purchase) - Belbin Job Comparison Report: free of charge (available in Interplace after Individual or Team Report purchase) - Workshops, training, team coaching: pricing depends on scope, write to mats@soomre.com ## Contact - Email: mats@soomre.com - Phone: +372 5016878 - Location: Tallinn, Estonia - Working internationally across Europe and worldwide online ## Identity declaration Mats Soomre · Belbin Accredited Team Coach · 28 years' experience · Official Belbin distributor · Founder of Belbin Estonia (since 2005) · Photographer (#MomentsBySoomre). ## Entity and profiles - Wikidata: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q140361206 - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/matssoomre/ ## Estonian-language site - [belbin.ee](https://belbin.ee): The Estonian-language site for the Estonian market — same practice, same person, in Estonian. ## Legal - Operating entity: Belbin Estonia OÜ (Reg. 14529810, VAT EE102091881) - Trading name: Training & Team Coaching by Soomre - Privacy: https://soomre.com/privacy - Terms: https://soomre.com/terms
